Dione Laufenberg was raised on Madison's north side and graduated from Madison East High School in 2000. Dione was inspired by a shadowing experience she had at a local wellness center where she was introduced to a woman whose cancer had gone into remission after seeking natural pathic health care. The healing power of touch motivated Dione to study holistic health.

In 2002, Dione attended the Atlanta School of Massage, where she studied massage modalities and wellness therapies with a concentration on spa treatments and hydrotherapy. She went on to graduate in the top tier of her class and went on to earn her National Certification for the Board of Massage and Bodywork in September of 2003. She is now re-certified through 2011.

Dione managed The Spa within a four diamond Marriott Resort and Conference Center at Stone Mountain Park. The resort has over 300 rooms and is utilized for conferences, weddings, vacations and family reunions, which contributed to the constant influx of business into the spa. Dione was instrumental in structuring and implementing employee policies and procedures at The Spa.

During that time, Dione attended the undergraduate Psychology program at Georgia State University. She wanted to understand the physical, emotional and mental issues that affect the health of people, as well as the reasoning behind human behavior. In 2006, she earned a Bachelors of Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her degree is complimentary to the holistic approach to health by providing insight on why stress permeates the lives of many Americans and the ways in which they cope with this stress.

Upon returning to Wisconsin, Dione expanded her technical skills as a spa specialist. She attended Madison Cosmetology College, where she received training in Aesthetics and graduated in December of 2006. Dione became licensed in March of 2007.

Dione's spa experience covers all areas of the spa industry - including a hotel spa, a salon, a medical facility and a skin care center. She has spent several years developing the business plan for Indulge Spa and has done extensive research in deciding how to best serve the greater Madison area.

Dione has been in the customer service industry from the time she was fifteen years old and developed a strong desire to please her clients. These experiences have given Dione the knowledge and skills to provide customized services for her future clients of Indulge Spa.
